Sensex, Nifty fall on Russia-Ukraine disaster; Dr. Reddy’s slips to 52-week low

India’s inventory benchmarks fell as international equities plunged sharply on escalation of Russia-Ukraine geopolitical tensions. S&P BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 fell essentially the most in 10 months.

The Sensex fell 3% to 55,501.38. The 30-stock gauge was down 2,100 factors at an intraday low of 55,147.73. The NSE Nifty 50 additionally fell at 16,541.20 with the same decline.
