Commerce minister Piyush Goyal is reported to be going to obtain a few of these evacuated from Ukraine.
Earlier on Saturday, a number of of them boarded a government-hired Air India flight from Romania to Mumbai. One other flight will take passengers to Delhi.

Air India stated in a launch that it is going to be working flights on B787 plane from Delhi and Mumbai to Bucharest in Romania and Budapest in Hungary on Saturday, 26 February as particular authorities constitution flights to fly again stranded Indian residents.

In a journey advisory, the federal government stated Indian nationals coming in from Ukraine who should not vaccinated and neither processing Covid-19 unfavorable RT PCR report shall be exempted from importing paperwork on Air Suvidha portal earlier than departure. The choice was taken on humanitarian grounds, it stated, including that such passengers can enter the airport.
