Stepping up its efforts to evacuate Indian college students stranded in war-hit Ukraine, the Centre on Monday determined that Union ministers Hardeep Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and V Okay Singh will journey to its neighbouring nations to coordinate the evacuation mission and assist college students, authorities sources stated.
These ministers will likely be going there as “special envoys” of India, they stated.
The choice was taken at a high-level assembly chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
