The
Karnataka
authorities
that
has
enacted
an
anti-
cow
slaughter
laws,
on
Friday
in
its
finances
proposed
to
launch
‘Punyakoti
Dattu
Yojane’ to
encourage
public
and
the
non-public
establishments
to
undertake
cows
in
the
Goshalas
(shelters
for
cows).

31
to
100,
and
Rs
50
crore
will
be
supplied
in

“Our
Authorities

given

for

Slaughter
and
Preservation
of
Cattle
Act,
2020
has

Act,
the

Goshalas

Rs
50
crore
will
be
supplied,”
Chief
Minister
Basavaraj
Bommai
mentioned

2022-23.

that

the

time
in

state,
the
authorities
will
launch
‘Punyakoti
Dattu
Yojane,’ he
mentioned,
this

to
encourage
public
and
the
non-public
establishments
to
undertake
cows
in
the
Goshalas
by
paying
Rs
11,000
yearly.

The
finances

states
that
monetary
help
will
be
given
to
convert
waste
generated
in
Goshalas
of
the
State
into
eco-friendly
merchandise.
“Gomatha
Sahakara
Sangha’ will
be
established
for
advertising
of
cow
produce.

One

cell
is
proposed
to

established
in
the
College
of
Veterinary
Sciences
for
the
growth
of
certification
and
technicality
of
cow
produces,” Bommai
mentioned.
He
additionally
mentioned
that
in

to

and
improve
the
inventory
of
indigenous
cow
breeds,
2,000
cows
will
be
distributed
to
farmers
by way of
Karnataka
Milk
Federation
(KMF).
