Para shuttler Sukant Kadam leapfrogs to world no 2 spot in SL 4 class

Kadam had received gold medals on the Uganda Worldwide Para Badminton Match, Nationwide Para Badminton Match and the just lately concluded Spanish Worldwide Para Badminton Championship II.

“I’m really excited to become world number 2, I’ve trained really hard to get here but this is just the start of my journey. Right now I’m focusing on performance and I’m give my best in this tournament. It’s an important year and I would like to continue playing at this high level,” Kadam stated in a press release.

The Indian kick began their Spanish Para Badminton Worldwide 2022 Grade I event on Thursday with a simple 21-13 21-11 win over Germany’s Marcel Adam. He had already crushed Adam in straight units on the Spanish Para badminton II worldwide final week to clinch the gold.

Within the standings, Kadam is behind Frenchman Lucas Mazur, who’s at the moment world No. 1 within the SL 4 class.
