New Delhi, Mar 12: The Nationwide Investigation Company has filed a chargesheet towards 5 Khalistani terrorists in reference to a narcotics and arms smuggling case.

The NIA has charged Harmesh Singh, Darvesh Singh, Gurmukh Singh,Gagandeep and Lakhbir Singh Rode. The NIA stated that these individuals have been smuggling arms and narcotics from Pakistan and bringing it into India.

Investigation has revealed that the chargesheeted accused individuals had smuggled unlawful consignments of arms, ammunitions, explosives and narcotics from throughout the Indo-Pak border to hold out terror actions in India.

These unlawful consignments have been despatched by accused Lakhbir Singh Rode (Chief of ISYF, a banned terrorist organisation) and his associates from Pakistan through drones. These consignments have been acquired by co-accused and additional discreetly handed on to different accused individuals concerned within the conspiracy to hold out subversive actions in India. Incriminating evidences have been discovered towards all of the chargesheeted accused individuals. Until now, 5 accused have been arrested within the case whereas accused Lakhbir Singh Rode is absconding.
