Biden to authorise additional $200M for Ukraine

Washington, Mar 12: US President Joe Biden is authorising the State Division to offer extra help to Ukraine of as much as USD 200 million.

The funds would cowl weapons in addition to army providers, schooling and coaching as Ukrainians search to repel a Russian invasion.

The help is a part of broader U.S. help within the type of help and sanctions. When Russia invaded Ukraine in late February, Secretary of State Antony Blinken famous that USD 1 billion in help had been supplied to Ukraine.

The continuing warfare has led to extra help with Congress this week approving USD 13.6 billion in extra help, a sum that features USD 6.5 billion for the prices of sending troops and weapons to Jap Europe and USD 6.8 billion for refugees and financial help. Biden plans to signal the spending invoice with the extra help when he receives it subsequent week.
