PM Modi chairs high-level assembly to evaluate safety preparedness amid Ukraine disaster

New Delhi, Mar 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level assembly on Sunday to evaluate India’s safety preparedness and the prevailing world state of affairs within the context of the continuing battle in Ukraine.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Exterior Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Nationwide Secrity Advisor, Principal Secretary to Prime Minister, Cupboard Secretary, Defence Secretary, International Secretary attended the assembly.

The Prime Minister has held a number of high-level conferences, involving Union ministers and senior officers, ever since Russia launched its army assault on Ukraine and India started an enormous operation, titled ‘Operation Ganga’ to carry again its stranded residents from the war-hit nations.

Particulars of the assembly are but to emerge.
