New Delhi, Sep 01: An IndiGo plane en route Udaipur returned to Delhi on Thursday resulting from “engine vibrations” and the airplane has been grounded, in line with a senior Directorate Basic of Civil Aviation (DGCA) official.
The DGCA will probe the incident. This was the second such incident on Thursday of a airplane returning to the Delhi airport resulting from technical points. The official stated the IndiGo flight from Delhi to Udaipur, operated by an A320 neo plane, did an air turnback after there have been vibrations in engine 2. The airplane landed safely and has been grounded.
The DGCA will conduct an in depth probe into the incident, the official added. In a press release, the airline stated its Airbus flight 6E-6264 from Delhi to Udaipur returned again to Delhi resulting from a technical snag.
“All passengers were accommodated on another aircraft which operated to Udaipur,” it added. Earlier within the day, a SpiceJet airplane that took off for Nashik from the nationwide capital, carrying 89 passengers, returned halfway resulting from an “autopilot” snag. This incident will even be probed by the DGCA.
